There is something undeniably powerful about a classic wedding. Trends come and go, but the elegance of a traditional Catholic ceremony followed by a reception with sweeping mountain views never goes out of style. Jon and Alexandra’s wedding day was the perfect example of this—a celebration focused on faith, family, and a timeless love story.
Their day spanned across the beautiful Temecula Valley, beginning with a solemn ceremony at St. Martha’s Catholic Parish in Murrieta and ending with an unforgettable reception at Journey’s End at Pechanga Casino Resort in San Jacinto.
Here is a look into their stunning day.
The Ceremony at St. Martha’s Catholic Parish, Murrieta
The day began at St. Martha’s, a church known for its welcoming community and beautiful, light-filled sanctuary. Jon and Alexandra chose to skip the “getting ready” coverage to focus entirely on the main event: the sacrament of marriage.
The anticipation in the air was palpable as guests filled the pews.

Watching Alexandra walk down the aisle was a highlight of the day. The architecture of St. Martha’s provided a grand yet intimate backdrop as they exchanged traditional vows. There is a specific gravity to a Catholic mass that grounds the entire day, reminding everyone of the deep commitment being made.

Portraits with Mountain Views
Following the ceremony, we utilized the stunning grounds for portraits. We focused on classic posing that reflects the timeless nature of their relationship. The chemistry between Jon and Alexandra made my job easy; they simply radiate joy when they are together.

Reception at Journey’s End at Pechanga Casino
For the reception, the party moved to Journey’s End at Pechanga Casino Resort. If you haven’t been to this venue, it is a hidden gem in the San Jacinto Valley. Located at the golf course, the venue offers incredible views of the San Jacinto Mountains, which turned a spectacular shade of purple and gold as the sun went down.

The reception space was decorated with timeless elegance—crisp linens, soft florals, and warm lighting that complemented the venue’s high beams.

From the grand entrance to the final dance, the energy at Journey’s End was unmatched. It was the perfect setting to celebrate Jon and Alexandra—a venue that feels grand and luxurious, yet comfortable for all their guests.

Jon and Alexandra, thank you for trusting me to capture your day. It was an honor to witness the start of your legacy.
